The Strangford Management Contractor Standard

We wish to work with the very best contractors in our industry and therefore we have created the following set of standards and requirements that we need from all our contractors in order to work in the best possible manner.

Whilst these standards do not represent an exhaustive list of what we expect, they are the minimum that we require for both your, our and our client's benefit.

Hold a minimum of £2 million insurance cover for Public Liability and Employee Liability from an authorised insurer.
Complies with all relevant and current Health and Safety legislation and Health and Safety executive guidance notes.
Are part of a Trade Accreditation relevant to the industry to which you are carrying out work.
Be able to provide a minimum of 3 years of company accounts.
Be able to provide case studies showing work previously undertaken.
Copy of generic risk assessments.
Copy of generic method statements.
Statement of employee training undertaken.

In addition to the above, and by way of practical working arrangements, we expect:

Reporting on headed paper within 24 hours of attendance of an issue, to include imagery (pictures or video) and a detailed assessment.
Invoices to be sent within 5 days of the work being completed.
A fixed rates card for all works your company undertakes, sent to Strangford Management in advance.
All reports and quotes to be issued on headed paper and sent to the relevant Strangford Management contact within 48 hours of attendance to an issue.
Company contact details for both your engineers and senior members of your company.
